Your heart is still beating

Alan,
we all miss you sooooo much.

We will never forget you.

Prepare for all of us when we will
arrive in heaven.
It´s hard not having you around.

But we never will forget you.

Peace for you.

It's hard to believe how time passes so quickly. We're so sad when we imagine times without you,but be sure you'll always stay in our minds. When I listen to my favourite Smokie songs including My heart is true,Think About the Night and the most favourite I Feel Love I always remember of this genius musician, but first of all great man.Alan thanks for your great contribution to Smokie, your performance on the stage, enthusiasm and feelings given to your love songs. You''ll never be forgotten!

I'm sure Alan would have liked the idea from all that I've read about him so far - caring about someone is always good.
I think it's a really nice idea to light a candle - even if it's only on the world wide web. It's such a sad song (July '69).
After attending a concert in Germany once with Mike Craft on lead vocals, I started to get to know Smokie's music better by listening to some CDs with Alan Barton on vocals and it made me curious to find out more about the band. I can't think of a favourite song with Alan Barton on vocals as there are many good songs on the CDs I own. His voice simply carries the emotions.
